I went one more time to Hanoi. But as we arrived there quite late my next morning was more like next afternoon. Apart from that as the departure day approaches thing are getting more and more busy. Hey, it wasn’t vacations in Hong Kong, but 4 years living there (3 in HK and one in Mainland) and moving everything back is quite complicate…

But anyway there was Hanoi. I went to check places where I was willing to go, like to Ho Chi Min Mausoleum or the War Museum, but I was on the wrong day. Everything was already closed. B plan: to look for a wet market.
I catch the camera (by the way I am trying the D7000) with one lens and went out. On the breast pocket of my vest I put a Canon S95 that I always carry around.
The day was very, very hot (almost on the 40ties C), high humidity, bright sun and no wind. Half of the way I used the S95 once, when somebody I shoot offer to take a picture of me. I handed over the S95, got the picture takes, check it on the LCD and put it back on the pocket. And let’s walk!

Siesta time!
On the way back I decided to change the way a bit since I haven’t find the wet market. And then I get lost, and getting lost I get to the wet market! But again I was late, it was already finishing.

Wet Market

Yummi!
When I got out of the market I find myself again (I was on the wright way, just a different one, or not “so” wright), I was on the border of the lake behind the hotel. But all the heat was taking it’s toll, and I was beginning to feel bad. At this point I decided to check if the pocket where I put the S95 was dry or wet and… surprise!!!! no S95 anymore!!! I have been pick pocketed!!! As when I do this kind of walking I usually don’t carry wallet or any other valuables the only one possible to take was the S95, and there it went.

Last time I saw my camera!
Finally got back to the hotel. The only thing that was still dry were the socks, as per the rest all my clothes had to stay drying in front of the AC so I can pack everything next morning! I got close to a heat stroke! And I was robbed!
So just one thing left: enjoy some of the pictures.
